for their 2009 annual report, Mediafonds worked with two photographers, Sanne Peper and Nadine Stijns, who documented the making of all the productions that started in 2009.  mannschaft designed the annual report as two books: a photo book and a separate book with the year’s key figures.

we wanted the photographs to be integrated, but still wanted each photographers’ work to be viewable independently. by cutting every other page 1cm shorter, the book can be browsed front-to-back (to view Nadine’s photographs) or back-to-front (to view Sanne’s photographs) - the video below shows how.

Francisco Camacho wants to collect 40,000 signatures through a petition to legalise group marriages.
with 40,000 signatures, you can take your petition to the dutch parliament and they need to take the proposal seriously.

in dutch: “Wij, bewoners van Nederland, constateren dat er geen sociale, economische, culturele en morele obstakels zijn voor groepshuwelijken, terwijl een vrije burger moet kunnen beslissen met hoeveel anderen zij of hij het leven wil delen, en verzoeken daarom de wetten die dit verhinderen te veranderen en het mogelijk te maken voor een groep burgers om onderling met elkaar te trouwen.”
Kunstenaar Francisco Camacho zoekt naar manieren om zijn werk binnen officiële maatschappelijke kanalen te laten bestaan. Met de Petitie groepshuwelijken wil hij 40.000 handtekeningen verzamelen om het groepshuwelijk in Nederland via de Tweede Kamer wettelijk erkend te krijgen. Vanuit De Inkijk van SKOR organiseert hij gedurende de maanden mei en juni een aantal acties om handtekeningen te genereren, waaronder een massaal symbolisch groepshuwelijk, debatten en een ‘honeymoonquiz’.

in english: “We, inhabitants of The Netherlands are aware of the fact that there are no socio-economical, cultural or moral obstacles as such for the existance of group marriages, a free citizen must be allowed to decide with how many people she or he wants to share their life, we thus declare the laws that prevent this to change so that a group of citizens can marry more than one partner.”

“toeval gezocht was in 2007 een grootschalig kunsteducatieproject voor jonge kinderen op vijftien scholen, verbonden aan de tentoonstelling cruel bonsai van het kunstenaarsduo heringa/van kalsbeek in het stedelijk museum amsterdam. de werkwijze was geïnspireerd door de reggio emilia-benadering.”
